The Ministry of Higher Education has revamped its website, so the links in the Research document are outdated. Here are the new locations:

Transcript Research offers two main types of evaluations, a basic evaluation that provides a general statement of comparability along with some other general information about the education system, and a course-by-course evaluation that lists each subject or exam on post-secondary academic credentials and assigns US grades and credits. Some of the samples below are oriented towards direct applicants, while others are created for our institutional clients, so the formatting varies slightly.
Here are a variety of sample credentials to allow institutions to have a better idea of what they can expect from Transcript Research evaluations.
The UGC has been busy this year! They’ve actually added some universities back to their website, though it’s not necessarily easy to find.
Here’s a current list of “Deemd to be University” institutions as of last month: http://www.ugc.ac.in/inside/deemeduniv.html
They also updated the list of “Fake Universities” recently: http://www.ugc.ac.in/inside/fakealerts.html
The “Autonomous Colleges” list is another that was updated in January 2009: http://www.ugc.ac.in/inside/auto_college.html
Go, UGC!
Because of a recent message on a mailing list, we’re again trying again to compile a list of fabulous/best practices on internationalization and intercultural communication efforts.

We’ll be adding more to this list and put them in a single location as time arises.
The website is in the process of undergoing a major revision which will be unveiled soon. In the interim, please feel free to subscribe to the RSS feed of this news section to be notified when changes are made.
